Origins
Like many good ideas in business, The Travelwrap Company originated from direct personal experience. While travelling on business, the company founder Niamh Barker realised she preferred her own rolled up cashmere sweater to offer of the airline's reusable blanket and pillow. She came up with the concept of The Travelwrap.
Her original idea was to allow travellers to have a beautiful knitted cashmere travel blanket that would provide comfort as well as a sense of home.
And then she realised that same sense of comfort and warmth was what she sought while watching the sun go down on board the family boat, at home enjoying those late summer picnics, or just reading a book by the fire...
