Summer, I think, might have finally arrived, based on two consecutive days of no rain. Al fresco eating and long evenings in the garden still seem distant prospect but at least I have swapped my long wool coats for a cardigan or a Travelwrap for a wander round the garden!

We did have a couple of lovely days last week and managed to get some great shots of our Summer Travelwraps down at Barton beach. These all fall into our Eclectic Collection, so have a look…Tree of Life, The Kiss and Breaking Waves just to start. The joy of course of beautiful cashmere is that it is luxurious and light through the summer months and then provides the warmest embrace in the winter.

We were recently shortlisted for the 'Luxury Gift of the Year 2008' award and we are delighted to announce that we have won this award.

"Winning the Luxury Gift of The Year has been a lovely endorsement of what we set out from the beginning to achieve with The Travelwrap Company, to do one thing and do it very well at the top of the market.

We spent a long time sourcing suppliers, staring with our Scottish mill that provided the most beautiful palette and finish of knitted cashmere to the packaging, gift presentation and end product. It is great to have recognized all our effort and ambition to get all the ingredients right and bring to market a beautiful luxury gift for 2008.

What we would like to achieve now is to harness the award and recognition and start to build the luxury brand of tomorrow."
