5th ANNUAL STEVIE® AWARDS FOR WOMEN IN BUSINESS

Stevie Award Winners to Be Announced in New York on November 14

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honour women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word “crowned,” winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis hotel in New York on Friday, November 14. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the U.S. and several other countries are expected to attend.

More than 1,200 entries were submitted for consideration in 50 categories, including Best Executive, Best Entrepreneur, and Best Community Involvement Program. The Travelwrap Company Ltd (www.thetravelwrapcompany.com) is a Finalist in the Best New Company of The Year category.

The Travelwrap Company Ltd was launched in August 2007 and offers luxurious contemporary knitted Scottish cashmere wraps for home and away. The Travelwrap Company now operates as an e commerce business and a retail supplier.

“Being selected as a finalist for The Stevie Awards by an international panel of judges is a significant endorsement of what we have achieved to date. Our ambition has been to create a luxury brand in the UK and for it to be recognised internationally is a huge milestone for the company” said Niamh Barker, the Creative Director and founder of The Travelwrap Company.

Finalists for the awards were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging. Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie Award winners from among the Finalists during final judging.
