OK we might be biased, but we can’t think of a better gift for a traveller this Christmas than a Travelwrap. They’re not just for snuggling under on a chilly night flight – they’re just as useful in hot climates, as they are in cold ones; as handy on Eurostar as on the Red Eye. Here are six places we will definitely be taking our wraps in the coming months.

FOUR SEASONS SAFARI LODGE SERENGETI, TANZANIA

We’ll certainly need to wrap up warmly for dawn game drives at Four Seasons Safari Lodge in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park (above). Drinks in the Sundowner Bar by the resort watering hole can be chilly, too. As bright colours are a no-no on safari, we’ll be packing Iona, in subtle shades of otter and linen. Further information, JUMBY BAY, ANTIGUA

Jumby Bay (above) is a Rosewood Resort on a private island in Antigua. At this time of year, temperatures are around 25C during the day, but evenings can be cooler and we might need something warm for those moonlit strolls along the beach. Dark colours look out of place in the Caribbean, so this wrap in Delft will be perfect. Further information, LES FERMES DE MARIE, MEGEVE

Luxurious Fermes de Marie is made up of nine traditional chalets overlooking Megève (the hotel also happens to serve the best fondue in town). Mont-Blanc (above), set over two floors with its own terrace, is our favourite suite and our striped Sunrise wrap will fit perfectly with the Alpine-chic decor. Further information, KINLOCH HOTEL & RESTAURANT, SKYE

Much as we love Scotland (our Travelwraps are made on the Scottish borders), its climate does call for a cosy cashmere wrap pretty much all year round. We’ll be taking our Blackberry wrap to Kinloch (above), a magical hotel owned by Claire and Godfrey Macdonald, on the banks of the sea-loch Na Dal. We probably won’t go out much: Kinloch is the sort of place for curling up in front of a blazing fire and enjoying the Highland hospitality. Further information, VILLA FELTRINELLI, LAKE GARDA

We love Villa Feltrinelli on Italy’s Lake Garda, and we’re planning a spring break when it reopens in April. A cappuccino at the water’s edge is always such a pleasure, but the lake breeze can be chilly at that time of year. This wrap in Furnace will be perfect, and chic enough to wear to dinner later. Further information, PARIS BY EUROSTAR

The Eurostar has a habit of being too hot one minute and chilly the next. Plus, when we’re on the first Eurostar of the day from St Pancras, we like to have a little snooze. So a Travelwrap in Annan – chic but understated – will accompany us on our next trip to Paris. Further information,
