Every year, Saga puts together a list of celebrities turning 50 in the next 12 months, pairing each star with a holiday. So if you’re about to hit the big 5-0, here’s where Saga suggests you celebrate.Macchu Pichu, PeruNicole Kidman (June 20)

Destination: Peru

In the movie Paddington Nicole Kidman plays an evil taxidermist, bent on getting her hands on everyone’s favourite marmalade-loving bear. Saga suggests a trip to Paddington’s homeland: the 12-night Land of the Incas tour includes a boat excursion on Lake Titicaca, a Cuzco city tour, a railway journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas and a guided tour of Machu Picchu, above. From £2,649; 9 May, 13 June, 5 September, 3 October and 14 November, 2017.Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary, SagaPamela Anderson (July 1)

Destination: Borneo

The former Playboy model and actress is a apparently a big animal lover so Saga believes its 14-night Borneo Rainforest Adventure, which includes a visit to the Sepilok Orangutan and Sun Bear Conservation Centre, would be perfect. Pamela could also dig out that red swimsuit and head for the beach. From £2,599; now until June and September to November 2017.South Wales coastline ©Leighcol/thinkstockphotos.co.uk

Julia Roberts (October 28)

Destination: South Wales

For Julia Roberts Saga has come up with a four-night Capturing South Wales photography holiday accompanied by a professional landscape photographer. Given she has spent most of her working life around cameras, this could turn out to be a busman’s holiday for Julia, but it sounds perfect for those quinquagenarians looking for a few days’ peace and quiet. From £649; June 25 and 10 September, 2017.Kyrgyzstan, Saga

Rufus Sewell (October 29)

Destination: Central Asia

We might associate Rufus Sewell with costume dramas post Victoria, but he has been quoted saying that he actually prefers ‘cravat-less’ roles. So for him Saga has selected a thoroughly modern adventure: its new 12-night Where Steppe and Mountain Meet to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan trip, an escorted tour in Central Asia through alpine scenery and mysterious ancient kingdoms. From £2,399; 11 & 18 May, 14 & 18 September and 12 October, 2017.Club Palm Bay, Sri LankaBoris Becker (November 22)

Destination: Sri Lanka

Saga suggests an eight-night stay at Club Palm Bay, on the west coast of Sri Lanka, for Boris Becker, where he could swim or snorkel in the crystal waters, laze on golden beaches under shady palm trees and enjoy the sunsets. And yes, there are tennis courts. From £1,249; from now until June and September to November 2017.
