All of our cashmere comes from Inner Mongolia, where our mill has been buying sustainably sourced fibre from the same farms for many years. Our cashmere wraps are then lovingly crafted and hand-finished in Scotland at Johnstons of Elgin, who have over two hundred years of tradition and expertise in manufacturing cashmere using the highest quality, natural fibres.

At The Travelwrap Company we concentrate on doing just one thing and doing it brilliantly - we design and knit the best luxury cashmere wraps and shawls on the market. If you’re looking for a great everyday cashmere travel wrap, the perfect elegant evening wrap, a cosy scarf, lightweight cashmere blanket, or beautiful wedding shawl, we’ve got you covered.
Our luxury designer wraps are made from the finest quality Scottish cashmere in 2-ply yarn (or more) which is not only softer and warmer than single ply cashmere, but will last for many years to come (see Craftmanship). In fact, if you look after it, as well as lasting for a long time it will become even softer with age.
All our cashmere is sustainably sourced in Mongolia then spun at the only mill in Scotland still capable of turning raw fibre into yarn. After that the cashmere goes through up to 25 processes before each wrap is finally hand finished.

A message from us
We were overwhelmed with messages of support, sadness and stories of Travelwrap regarding the news that Travelwrap is closing.
Thank you all so much and I will respond to the individual messages as soon as I can.
We have also been inundated with orders which is a joyful celebration of how much the brand means to you all, thank you.
The weather conditions in Scotland have been harsh so it’s taking a few days to get the stock to us and of course we are a small team so the orders will take us a few days to process and dispatch.
We have had many orders for certain designs and there will be a few we not be able to fulfil but we will let you know as soon as possible and hopefully be able to offer an alternative.
