Description

Crovie is the smallest and most remote of Scottish cliff-foot villages, but its bright orange roofs are famous.

For centuries, they sheltered their inhabitants from the storms at sea.

At Travelwrap our throw Crovie, which is woven from 100% pure cashmere, continues this tradition of care and craftmanship.

Its chunky cashmere offers the cosiest of comfort and its two contrasting colours – Vermillion Orange and Natural – are only a couple of the shades Travelwrap offers in its collection.

The Crovie is piece of highland heritage: like all members of the Travelwrap clan it is woven in our Scottish mill, which was founded in 1797. So much for longevity, season for season.

Our luxurious knits can all be hand washed or dry cleaned. We recommend hand washing, as the garment will soften with age and hand washing. Just follow these simple guidelines:

Soak in lukewarm water using a mild detergent.
Squeeze suds gently through the fabric.
Rinse thoroughly in clean lukewarm water.
Gently squeeze out the water or spin on a short gentle spin on a washing machine.
Smooth garment back into the original shape and place flat on a towel.
Dry naturally away from radiators or sunlight. Do not tumble dry.
When dry press lightly with a cool iron.
